Agrologists are able to provide input to policy development.
NSIA participates in Career Fairs, Agrologists are regularly called on to serve as resource persons at high school career fairs through the province.

NSIA developed a series of brochures which were distributed through the high school system in Nova Scotia. In addition to serving as general agricultural awareness information these brochures focused on specific issue topics in agriculture: Agriculture and the Environment, Animal Agriculture, Agriculture and Food Safety, Agriculture and Animal Care.
