SUMMARY:Webinar 1: Cannabis with Alex Buckley
DESCRIPTION:Join us with guest presenter Alex Buckley of Rhize\, to discuss cannabis growing\, the Canadian cannabis industry\, its triumphs and current issues\, and the company he launched in 2022 called Rhize. Rhize is a fertilizer and consulting company that provides consulting to home growers\, gardeners growing various crops\, and professional licensed producers. \nAlex’s love for agriculture began with cannabis. He was a recreational user at first\, and later noticed how much it was amplifying the benefits of rehabilitation practices that he had adopted to reverse physical and mental ailments\, and it became a regular ritual for him to combine the two. \nHe has held many positions in the cannabis industry since its legalization in 2017. Alex was a Lead IPM/Cultivation Tech\, a Research & Development Tech\, a Master Grower and helped build Dalhousie University’s first cannabis production course\, which he taught for 3 semesters. He also holds a bachelor of business degree from his hometown university in Saint John\, a bachelor of science degree from Dalhousie University majoring in plants sciences and is security cleared by Health Canada. \nRegister Here!
