Information from Health Canada for Agrologists

Health Canada’s Pesticide Compliance Program (PCP) is responsible for promoting, monitoring, and enforcing the Pest Control Products Act (PCPA). The below document provides a summary of the federal regulatory requirements relevant for agrologists, who play a key role in promoting the safe and responsible use of pesticides.

To ensure the dissemination of up-to-date information on permitted uses, we are also making available a report of pesticide products with a last date of permitted sale in the current year. If you would like to receive this report on a monthly basis, email the PCP and they will add you to their distribution list.

Do not hesitate to contact the PCP for questions or comments. Your feedback on the usefulness of this information, as well as your suggestions for optimizing our compliance promotion efforts, are always welcome.
