UPDATE -Invitation to Consultation Sessions
The Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture rescheduled their consultation sessions that were cancelled due to Hurricane Fiona. Before they begin developing programs under the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership agreement, they would like to hear from you. On October 24th, 25th and 27th, the department will discuss federal-provincial program supports for agriculture that will begin in 2023.

AIC – Fall Videoconference Series
The Agri-Food Innovation Council (AIC) is hosting a Fall videoconference series on Investment Environment – Agri-Food Research and Innovation.
This series features four sessions over four weeks (Tuesdays from 2-3:30pm):
• November 10, 2020 – Setting the stage: Importance of investments in agri-food research and innovation and their RoI;
• November 17, 2020 – Is there an investment gap for agri-food research and innovation;
• November 24, 2020 – Venture capital and banking: how they work and what they want;
• December 1st, 2020 – A better investment climate: government investment and taxation.
