10th Annual CFGA Conference and Pre-Conference Technical Workshop
The Canadian Forage and Grassland Association (CFGA) is offering an invitation prior to the 10th Annual CFGA Conference for the Annual Pre-Conference Technical Workshop.
These technical workshops have become in integral component of the CFGA Annual Conference. Started in Winnipeg at the 2016 event, Technical Workshops have focused on key issues and/or projects that the CFGA is working on and have been used to bring forage industry practitioners from across the country together to discuss trends, concepts and challenges that the industry is facing.
Feedback from forage sector researchers from across Canada has highlighted some difficulty in securing students interested in pursuing Post-Secondary degrees in the forage field. In an early attempt to address this challenge, the CFGA has teamed up with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada to host student engagement exercises throughout the conference week. Students will be on hand during the technical workshops and at a special reception following the days events on November 12th, and will be encouraged to attend the remainder of the conference.
